Our Story & Values
Where passion for floral artistry meets professional excellence in career development
What Drives Us Forward
Every decision we make stems from three fundamental beliefs that shape how we approach floral education and career development. These aren't just words on a wall—they're the principles that guide every student interaction and course we create.
Mastery Through Practice
We believe that true floral artistry emerges through dedicated hands-on experience. Rather than overwhelming students with theory, we focus on progressive skill building where each lesson builds naturally on the previous one.
Our signature 12-week program starts with basic stem cutting techniques and progresses to complex wedding arrangements. Students create over 50 unique bouquets by graduation.
Individual Growth Paths
Every student brings different experiences and goals. That's why we've moved away from one-size-fits-all approaches to create personalized learning journeys that respect where you're starting from.
Before starting any course, we conduct detailed skills assessments and career goal discussions. This helps us customize project assignments and mentorship focus areas.
Community & Connection
The floral industry thrives on relationships—with clients, suppliers, and fellow artisans. We intentionally create learning environments where students build meaningful professional networks alongside their technical skills.
Our monthly showcase events connect current students with program graduates and local florists. Many students find their first job opportunities through these gatherings.
How We Think About Teaching
After working with hundreds of aspiring florists since 2024, we've learned that the most successful students aren't necessarily those with prior experience—they're the ones who embrace the learning process itself.
We start every course by acknowledging that mistakes are part of mastery, not obstacles to it
Our instructors share their own learning stories and ongoing challenges in the industry
Students work on real client projects (with support) rather than just practice exercises
We celebrate progress and effort, not just perfect final products
This approach has led to remarkable outcomes. Our 2025 graduate survey showed that 87% of students felt confident taking on freelance projects within three months of completing their program.
What Our Students Experience
The best measure of our values in action comes from the people who've been through our programs. Here's what they've shared about their experience with us.
What surprised me most was how much individual attention I received. Even in group sessions, instructors remembered my specific goals and would suggest techniques that aligned with my interests in event florals.
The community aspect really made the difference for me. I'm still in touch with classmates from my 2024 cohort, and we often collaborate on larger projects. It's like having a built-in professional network.
